  1. Really great video with an even greater story. I loved all the photos that helped to tell the story. You did a really nice job putting everything together.

  2. I really enjoyed the way in which everything was shot and done in the way of panning across the pictures and such. My only suggestion would be to boost the interview volume a bit so that the voice over isn't such a big change in the way of volume. Other than that it was a great project and I enjoyed watching it.

  3. Very strong introduction before transition to the interview. Good use of transitions throughout the video, I like the fact that you used pictures for the b roll instead of video footage, it makes it more unique and gives it a nice look.

  5. Your video was very artistic. The theme was very unique and interesting. The camerawork was well done, and the b-roll of Jared's dad's pictures were amazing. The background music was good, but my one critique is that it overshadowed what the interviewees were saying much of the time, making it difficult to hear them.

  6. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIDEO! I was really looking forward to seeing this when you pitched the idea and I think you did a phenomenal job on all levels to finish with an amazing piece. I love Jared's voiceovers as both of beginning and the end of the video. I love the beautiful pictures that you included that your dad photographed. Wonderful job with the editing as well. I only wish that the interview audio were louder. Awesome job, guys!

  7. I love the introduction of the video, the photos and music fit very well. I absolutely love this video and how personal it is. The transitions are nicely done as well as the Jarreds voice in the background tells a nice story. The interviews were shot at a good distant. I also like the lighting in the interview scene. The only thing I noticed was her voice got softer, which made it difficult to hear in some parts. Overall you did a fabulous job!!

  8. It's a beautifully intimate story. I'm happy that you were able to get into contact with people that your father was close to. They were well shot and made great subjects to listed to
There were a few photos that could have been better placed in the story (concert - over talking about concert, etc.) Music a little lower < but what was chosen, was good choice.
I hope that the process helps.

  9. That was absolutely beautiful! Everything was just so awesome: the photos that he took and the way they were edited and played on the screen, the music, the interview frames were very nice, and the way that Jared narrated was really fantastic. Very nicely done!

  10. This was a really touching video. I though you guys did a great job of capturing the emotional tone of this film with the interviews mixed with b-roll of photos he took. The only issues were near the end when the audio didn't sync with the video and the final voiceover was a little loud compared to the rest of the video.
